Mark Fussell, the WSE Program Manager posts that since the MTOM specification has moved to a full recommendation it means that it can be implemented in WSE 3.0. This is great as it means that we'll have a way of solving the problem of how to send binary data in an efficient, interoperable way that plays nicely with the other WS-* specs .
